Veteran songwriter Gilles Godard is ole’s Chief Creative Officer. Gilles manages ole’s Creative activities with a mandate to expand ole’s presence and activity on Music Row.

For Gilles this move into the executive suite is an evolution of his role within ole. Gilles was signed as a writer to ole in December of 2006 and in that time has landed new cuts on albums by Willie Mack, Crossin’ Dixon, Anne Murray, Cowboy Crush, Amy Dalley, Brad Johner, Adam Gregory and many more. Gilles’ recent co-writes include Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys), Willie Mack, Tim Nichols, Nicole Witt, Bruce Wallace, Gordie Sampson, Rick Giles and Noah Gordon.

In 1999 Gilles had his first major US country Single “When Mama Ain’t Happy” for Tracy Byrd and in 2000 he following that up with “That’s the Kind of Mood I’m In” which was a hit for Patty Lovelace and in February of 2004 he scored again with Terri Clark’s #1 International hit “I Wanna Do It All.” Gilles has had over 300 of his songs recorded in his career as a songwriter.

In addition to his role as Chief Creative Office with ole, Gilles will continue as an active signed writer with the company.
