James Freeman
Senior Financial Analyst
James comes to ole in the role of Senior Financial Analyst as a key member of the Acquisitions Team, responsible for the analysis of proposed deals, as well as being involved in the decision-making process.
James is an MBA graduate from the Schulich School of Business at York University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree from Queen's University. He has also earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
James brings to ole a strong background in the financial sector, including his work at Fortress Investment Group as both an Investment Analyst in their Hedge Fund division and later as a Private Equity Associate in their Private Equity division. James has also has experience in the real estate sector as Senior Investment Analyst with Blackwood Partners and as a Senior Analyst in the commercial mortgage department at Canada Life Assurance Co. As an experienced investment professional that has researched and analyzed companies within the consumer, financial, utilities and real estate sectors, James brings an elevated skill set to the financial modeling of cash flow projections and asset valuation.
James is a passionate music fan, with a particular interest in the indie rock music scene. He is also a performer, songwriter and plays guitar and drums in a local rock band.
