Connie joins ole as Senior Director, Brand Management, responsible for the care and stewardship of the ole brand through sponsorships, marketing initiatives, web presence and various media promotion opportunities for both the company and ole writers.
Prior to arriving at ole, Connie was Account Manager at Marketwire, a full-service newswire service. Previously progressing through senior roles at Yahoo!, Tribute Entertainment Media Group as well as The Outdoor Broadcast Network, she has distinguished herself in the fields of brand management, e-commerce promotion and media sales. Connie has dealt with such high profile clients such as Coca-Cola, McDonald's, General Mills, CIBC and Ford.
In 1984, Connie was crowned Miss World Canada while attending McMaster University and was then voted first runner-up for the Miss World title, setting a Canadian record. She took on the duties of President/CEO for Miss World Canada, holding the position for eight years.
