In his role as Manager, ole clear, Ross brings to ole over 20 years' experience in several facets of the music industry including composition, publishng, artist production, management, promotion, sales and marketing. Ross will be responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of ole's Production Music Library, promoting the library to a global clientelle, securing sub-publishing partners, managing ole's e-commerce platform, as well overseeing ole's composers and library partners.
A veteran in the production music library business, Ross' background includes his role as External Business Development Representative for SOCAN, cultivating and maintaining over 500 licensing accounts across the hospitality and entertainment industries. Ross built his own PML business, Hard Music Productions, placing songs in several productions including American Idol, David Letterman, Ellen Degeneres and Hockey Night in Canada. He also held production managerial roles with Coracat Records, Canada Custom Music Productions and Chris Stone Audio Productions.
Ross brings a thorough understanding of global performing rights organizations, catalogue management, cue sheet administration, music licensing and digital distribution to the ole team. His background as an accomplished professional music producer, composer, engineer and music consultant is a key component to the success of ole clear.
