John Anderson

In the role of Senior Director, Film, Television & Media, John oversees the success of ole's synch business across film, television, advertising, videogame and other media markets. He also advises ole's Creative Team on the synch potential of proposed acquisitions, recommends new signings and catalogue acquisition opportunities.
As one of the industry's most well-respected and widely known film and television placement experts, John spent 20 years at Windswept Music Publishing, contributing to the synch and licensing careers of talent such as Pete Townshend, John Mellencamp, The Allman Brothers and Willie Nelson. Growing Windswept from a fledgling start-up to the largest independent music publisher in the world, John was responsible for such key placements as Eric Clapton's "Before You Accuse Me", Vanessa Williams' "Save The Best For Last" and all songs by The Who in the entire CSI franchise.
Following the sale of Windswept in 2007, John co-founded Hunnypot Unlimited, a diversified music publishing, marketing and synch placement organization. Partnering with music supervisor P.J. Bloom, Hunnypot provides exclusive promotion, marketing, brand development and placement representation. Through exposure to cutting edge music,endorsements, promotion, packaging and planning of live music concerts and events, Hunnypot effects the change in the music palates of listeners worldwide. John also established Hunnypot Radio and the Hunnypot website, providing state of the art awareness of artist activity, as well as contemporary music news and cultural media.
John serves on the Executive Fundraising Committee for the City of Hope, the music industry's premier charitable organization and is a member of the Film & Television Task Force for the Academy of Country Music (ACM).
