Mike Sebastian
Senior Director, Catalog
Mike is Senior Director, Catalog, based out of ole's Nashville office and a key member of ole's Creative team. Mike is responsible for promoting ole's catalog by securing cuts, covers and placements across the entire back country catalogue. He also works closely with both current and legacy ole writers on placements and strategic collaborations, maximizing their catalog activity.
Originally from Jackson, Missouri, Mike attended Belmont University, then utilized his degree in Music Business as Professional Manager at New Clarion Music Group, working with such industry legends as Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers and Charlie Daniels.
Mike then took on the role of Creative Director of MCA Music Publishing, followed by a unique opportunity at Reba McEntire's Starstruck Writer's Group as Creative Director, where he was promoted to Vice President.
2001 brought the launch of Blacktop Music Group, which was a joint effort on behalf of Mike, Charles Sussman and Clint Black, building the catalog/roster ole acquired in early 2010. Mike originally joined ole as a consultant through the Blacktop acquisition, where his forensic knowledge of the catalog became an key asset to its management and promotion.
