Andrew McLaughlin
VP, Copyright and Royalty Administration
Andrew heads up ole's Administration Team as Vice President, Copyright and Royalty Administration, based in the Toronto office. Bringing an impressive and unique financial skill set to ole, Andrew manages the Administration team; is responsible for the completeness of royalty collections; and also spearheads and oversees the Department's strategization and all client service mandates.
Andrew's forensic finance, business support, audit and reporting experience was an invaluable asset during his eight-year tenure with Sears Canada, where he rose through progressively more senior positions to Associate Vice President Finance Controller, Merchandising & Marketing.
Prior to Sears, Andrew's role as Eastern Canada Finance Manager, Cold Drink Sales with Coca-Cola Enterprises provided both financial reporting and control, as well as management support. Andrew also worked with Shoppers Drug Mart as Marketing Finance Manager and Internal Auditor, as well as kick-starting his career with Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor.
Originally from North Bay, Ontario, Andrew came to South-western Ontario to attend the University of Waterloo, graduating with a Masters of Accounting Degree, after attaining an Honours Co-Op Bachelor of Arts at Waterloo's School of Accountancy. Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Shannon, and son, Max, and enjoys kayaking and cycling in his spare time.
