Ole welcomes Steve Smith to the newly created position of Manager, Sales - ole clear, (formerly called productionmusicnow). Steve comes to ole as a result of our acquisition of The Music People Ltd., where he worked as a Music Consultant and Manager of Sales.
With over 20 years experience in the production music library industry, Steve played a key role at TMP. He was responsible for cultivating and servicing clients in the Film, Broadcast Media, Advertising and Gaming industries such as CBC, TSN, Teletoon, The Score, Family Channel, Shaftsebury Films, Summerhill Entertainment, Fan 590, CFNY Radio, TVO, BBDO, Leo Burnett, Cossette, Express Vu, Vapor Music, S.L. Feldman, and Arpix Music Supervision.
Based in ole's Toronto office, Steve will be responsible for generating sales and revenue by servicing existing clients and developing new prospects for clear.
clear is independent of the current ole music catalogue, though a logical extension of our business. It contains the equivalent of 100,000 tracks of music comprised of masters owned by ole, as well as the Canadian sub publishing rights for over 40 Production Music Libraries from around the world.
