ole Extends Deal With Emmy-Nominated Children's Entertainment Giant, Nelvana

ole has expanded its extensive deal relationship with Nelvana, the award-winning producer of children's animation and related consumer products that recently garnered a 2009 Daytime Emmy nomination for its TV show '6Teen.' The animated comedy follows the lives of six 16-year-olds at The Mall, where they deal with everything from bad bosses to ugly uniforms.

Over more than 30 years, Nelvana has produced in excess of 100 major television series, available in more than 150 countries. Nelvana's library of more than 2,300 half hour episodes includes ole-administered shows 'Franklin,' 'Rolie Polie Olie,' 'Cyberchase,' 'Little Bear,' 'Pippi Longstocking,' 'Anatole,' 'Ned's Newt,' 'George Shrinks,' 'Jacob Two Two,' 'Miss Spider,' 'Beyblade' and 'Berenstain Bears.' Nelvana also produces the animated children's series 'Babar,' 'The Magic School Bus,' 'The Backyardigans,' 'Rescue Heroes,' 'Care Bears' and 'Fairly OddParents.'

ole/Roots Three band, Doc Walker, earned awards for Group or Duo of the Year (for their hit "Coming Home,") Website of the Year and Guitar Player of the Year (honoring their guitarist, Murray Pulver); in addition, the debut album by Tara Oram-featuring five ole copyrights, including the hit single "Go To Bed Angry"—won the Rising Star Award.

ole is the worldwide administrator of Nelvana's music publishing properties.
