ole and Roots Three Land Two Cuts on CMT Canada's 'Meet The Wilsons'

ole and co-venture partner, Roots Three, have landed the theme song ("Slice of Life") for the new reality show, 'Meet the Wilsons.'

The half-hour show, airing weekly on Canada's Country Music Television, features Dave and Kortney Wilson as they try to make their way as artists in Nashville - and try to manage their family life in the career-driven town. The couple, married 11 years and raising two children and adopting a third, dreamed up the series to illustrate the day-to-day challenges of balancing home life with their artistry. Both had been signed to publishing and recording deals at Lyric Street Records before being released in 2003. They had their first child the following year. Prior to that, they had been investing in houses and selling them to earn extra money.

"This is a lifestyle show where music is the star," says Roots Three founder and President, Ron Kitchener. "This couple has a family to raise, but a music business to build and run, so it's not your typical reality show. I'm very proud to be producing the series and to have an ole writer's song as the theme for the show."

For Kortney Wilson, the show is about perseverance. "What we're hoping to get across is that one of the best gifts you can give your kids is to pursue your dreams."
