Veteran Director Beefs Up Business Development Team

David Weitzman joined ole as Director of Business Development in the Los Angeles office in June. His 15 years of experience in the music business ranges from A&R and radio promotion to digital music development and distribution to music supervision, workings with such artists as Sublime, Ozzy Osbourne and Love & Rockets

"My focus at ole is identifying great TV and film companies to do admin deals, and finding great music catalogues for admin and co-publishing deals," Weitzman says. "I find ole to be an exciting, dynamic company to work for. I joined ole because they have an excellent forward-thinking business plan and people of great character."

Over the past eight years, Weitzman has been music supervisor on a wide variety of programs including "Party Monsters" for E! Networks; "Rob and Big Runs House," "Yo Mama" and "Wildboyz" for MTV Networks; "Victoria Beckham Coming to America" for NBC Networks; "Jackass the Movie" for Paramount Pictures; "High School Reunion" for Warner Bros., and many indie projects.

The California State University grad also was music supervisor for advertising campaigns for L.A. Fitness, Virgin TV, Mars Bars, NASCAR Fox, Clairol, Virgin Air, WPYC Team Russia, HSBC China, Microsoft Rhapsody and Safeway.
