Promotions Bolster TV Administration Efforts at ole
Longtime ole veteran, Jennifer Beavis, has been appointed Senior Director, Administration. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the administration team in Toronto, Beavis has more than 16 years’ experience in music publishing, including stints with BMG, EMI and famed Vancouver-based independent record label and music management and publishing firm, Nettwerk Productions. She was the Director of Copyright for the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA) for four and a half years, Director of Publishing and Licensing Administration for Nettwerk and also held the position of Executive Director of the Songwriters Association of Canada. Jennifer has served on the Boards of the Canadian Music Publishers Association, the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Canadian Country Music Awards and has lectured extensively on copyright and publishing, both at home and abroad.
"I am thrilled to be appointed as Senior Director of Administration at ole," Beavis says. "I have had a front-row seat in watching this company grow and I am as proud now as I was then that Robert (Ott) and now Michael (McCarty) have the confidence in me to contribute further in any way I can to this success story."
Meanwhile, Stephen Fitzgerald has been appointed Senior Manager, Administration.
Fitzgerald, who has been with ole for four years, has more than a decade of experience in the business. Beginning with EMI and then with CMRRA, he has worked with publishers around the world and understands publishing from both the collection agency and the client point of view. As Senior Manager, Administration, he is an integral member of the ole administrative team. Stephen is responsible for ensuring that clients receive all their royalties in a timely manner.
