Hit Writer Roger Springer Re-emerges

After decades of success writing for smash artists like Mark Chesnutt, Kenny Rogers and George Strait, ole's Roger Springer is back on a roll with several new cuts.

His co-write of "Dancing In Circles" for Nashville band Love & Theft (with band member Stephen Barker Liles and noted writer Robert Ellis Orrall) is set to go to radio in late October.

"Roger has been signed to us since 2008, and it's a pretty cool cut for him to work with a hot new band that has opened for Taylor Swift," says Shane Barrett, Nashville Creative Director. "He and Robert Ellis Orrall got together in a three-way session with Stephen Barker Liles and came up with a winning song that lends itself to country radio. It keeps momentum going for the group."

"He recently moved back to Nashville prior to signing with ole and worked hard to get back into the rhythm of some great co-writes," Barrett adds. "Now he's writing with a lot of artists as well as hit song writers, and we look forward to many great things to come from him as he gets back on the radio."

"It is always exciting to have a new single on country radio; it is a feeling that never gets old," Springer says. "When Robert Ellis Orrall called and asked me to come write a song with him and Stephen of Love and Theft I showed up with what I thought was a great idea. I played it for them and they shook their heads no and asked what else I had. I asked them to play me something to give me a direction of what they were looking for. They did and I remembered an idea that I had started called 'Dancing in Circles.' I played them the first verse and a couple of lines of the chorus and they both said, 'Oh yeah, that's the one.' As it happens so many times in Nashville an unfinished idea plus two great co-writers becomes a cut and a single. I am really grateful for the chance to have been in the room that day and for the chance to be on such a great record."

Previous Springer hits include "Thank God for Believers" and "It's A Little Too Late" for platinum artist Mark Chesnutt.
