ole Continues Quest for Efficient ‘Paperless’ Operation

Adding further efficiency to its handling of client information in the pursuit of a 'paperless' operation, ole has initiated the use of Microsoft SharePoint.

The software houses all electronic documents in a centralized location and allows access of legacy information into a "one-stop shop" for ole creative managers, says Jennifer Correia, assistant manager of legal and business affairs.

"SharePoint is being used in all aspects of our business," Correia says. "It is being used for project management in acquisitions, information tracking in human resources and inventory/information tracking in office management. SharePoint is also a central location for all of our contacts within the organization."

Time savings is one of the key advantages of the system. "We have eliminated some of the many ways we use to track data by having everyone within their prospective teams collaborate in one area rather than in multiple areas," Correia notes.

ole clients may soon benefit from SharePoint, as well. "We are looking into a portal whereby we can share documents and statements with our clients directly," Correia says. "ole is always looking for better ways of providing greater transparency to our clients."
