ole and Roots Three Music Extend Writer Deal With Steven Lee Olsen

On the heels of new cuts with Westlife, Armin van Buuren ft. VanVelzen and Kevin Borg, ole and roots three music have extended their successful partnership with Steven Lee Olsen.

"ole has been a great support in helping me further my career as both a writer and an artist," states Olsen. "The time they have invested in me as a young writer and the relationships they have helped me create is something I wouldn't have expected from most publishers. I'm proud of what we've done together so far, and I'm excited to continue working together into the future."

At the age of 20, Olsen packed his bags, his guitar and his dreams in his '97 Chrysler and headed to Nashville. Playing around town he met and began writing with songsmiths Angelo, Luke Laird, Richie Supa, Bryan White, Troy Verges and Bruce Wallace. Within months he signed his first publishing deal with ole co-venture partner Roots Three Music. Shortly thereupon Olsen's song, "Ordinary Angels," was cut by Craig Morgan, marking the young writer's arrival on Music Row.

Since that time, Olsen has proven he's not just a country songwriter, but has also shown his versatility in writing pop and R&B and by stepping out as an artist in his own right. In 2009, he was invited to travel to Sweden, Los Angeles and the UK to write with some of the world's top-selling pop writers, resulting in cuts with Westlife ("Leaving" from the album Where We Are which peaked at #2 on the UK charts), Armin van Buuren ft. VanVelzen ("Broken Tonight," a current Top 40 single in the Netherlands) and Kevin Borg ("Streetlights" featured on his Sony BMG Sweden album).

Steven Lee's first solo EP "Introducing Steven Lee Olsen" was released in the summer along with the single "Now." His latest single "Make Hay While the Suns Shines" was released in the fall.
