ACQUISITIONSole Prepares For The Launch Of Production Music Divisionole recently announced a deal with Los Angeles-based composers and production music entrepreneurs Eric Cunningham and Chris Lang of Chronic Music to launch its music production library initiative. In the past, Cunningham and Lang have acted as the creators and primary content providers for Universal's highly-successful Chronic Trax and Killer Edge products; as well as contributors to BMG's Killer Tracks library. In addition, their latest product, L.A. Riot Production Music, is distributed by Megatrax, one of the largest indie production music companies. "ole is looking forward to adding a world-class production music library to our offering to clients. Cunningham and Lang have an impressive track record, work ethic and a commitment to quality that aligns with the ole way of doing things. We look forward to a great deal of success with them in this new venture," says ole CEO Robert Ott. Under the terms of the deal, Cunningham and Lang will produce, edit, develop and assist in the marketing of ole's production music library, which ole has begun building through various acquisitions. Cunningham and Lang will also contribute to the library with the addition of a new catalogue of contemporary tracks. According to Chronic's Eric Cunningham, "Chris and I, along with our brilliant Chronic team of composers and producers, are extremely excited to be joining forces with ole. Robert Ott's vision for a new-era production music juggernaut squares perfectly with our ambition and core talents." |
