ole's Suite of E-tools Expanded for Better Client Service

musicnow, ole's leading-edge song search and delivery engine, has been upgraded as part of ongoing efforts to make it more user-friendly and intuitive for clients.

Recent upgrades include the ability to:

  • sort track orders within Projects to allow priority songs to be featured top of the playlist
  • a 5-star rating system for individual songs within custom Projects

Still to come: an audio player that will allow users to listen to a playlist of songs, much like a jukebox.

"We're getting a lot of great feedback on the site," says Elizabeth Spear, ole's Sr. Creative Manager. "People appreciate how fast the audio loads and that we offer full songs for streaming. They also like the clean and uncluttered look of the site."

The secure system protects the songwriters' intellectual property while allowing potential customers to easily audition material. Registered users can create projects and download high resolution audio tracks at 192kb or higher; non-members can stream music for audition purposes, but cannot access high-resolution audio or download material.

olenow, ole's suite of e-tools - which includes musicnow - is being expanded with a new transparency module for administration clients featuring the real-time monitoring of their accounts between accounting periods. Internally, ole has already automated the reconciliation of Music Maestro and Finance software systems to streamline variance analysis tools.
