Grammy Weekend Wrap-Up

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will not long be forgotten by ole, Liz Rose and Taylor Swift as all three picked up their first Grammy trophies when "White Horse," a co-write of Swift and Rose, was named Best Country Song. It was one of three ole-published songs from the Liz Rose catalogue heard on Swift's quintuple platinum, Grammy Award-winning album, Fearless.

Grammy weekend began on Friday, January 29th for ole with a private dinner at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood to celebrate the company's first-ever Grammy nomination for Best Country Song: "White Horse" (written by Liz Rose and Taylor Swift.) The dinner, hosted by Chairman and CEO Robert Ott, was attended by such luminaries as Grammy nominated and No. 1 songwriter Liz Rose, No. 1 songwriter Tim Nichols, as well as, entertainment attorney and ole co-venture partner Chris Taylor (Last Gang Publishing) and ole staffers.

Nervous anticipation built over the weekend up until the Sunday, January 31st afternoon pre-Grammy party moment when ole's Grammy win was announced. ole staff and special guests had gathered in Hollywood to watch the Grammy webcast before heading out to the Staples Center for the televised event. Cheers filled the room as the announcement was made. Soon after, the group headed for the red carpet to ultimately witness a banner night for ole, Liz Rose and Taylor Swift.

The evening wrapped up at the Beverly Hills Hotel's famed Polo Lounge with ole staff sharing the win with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Liz Rose.
