As Taylor Swift's Fearless recognized as most awarded country album in history, ole picks up four BMI Million-Air awards

ole's Chairman & CEO Robert Ott and Chief Creative Officer Gilles Godard were among the friends, family and business associates who gathered for a private dinner in Nashville on March 17th to celebrate a major milestone in Taylor Swift's career as her ole-powered, six-time platinum album Fearless was recognized as the most awarded country album in history.

The evening took on an added glow for ole as Jody Williams of BMI presented the company with four Million-Air Awards for one million broadcast performances on Swift's songs "Tim McGraw," "Picture To Burn" and "Tear Drops On My Guitar," for which there were two awards to mark its two million broadcast performances. All three ole-published songs were Taylor Swift/Liz Rose co-writes that appeared on Swift's multi-platinum, self-titled debut album.

"The dinner with Taylor Swift and the people closest to her during this incredible period of her career, including her parents, management, songwriter Liz Rose, ole, Jody Williams, and her band members - all of whom continue to be instrumental in her stellar career, was a quite surreal and historic moment," says ole's Gilles Godard." There was much to celebrate including the combined sales of 13 million albums worldwide to date, her status as the top selling digital artists in history and Fearless, the most awarded album in country history.

"Robert Ott and I were honored to be there to congratulate Taylor personally and celebrate all of her achievements. The event also made everyone realize that despite the downturn in the industry, it is obvious that people still want to buy and listen to a great artist, powered by great songs. We are proud to say that ole and our Liz Rose songs played a major part in this story."
