SPECIAL EVENTSole Continues To Support Nashville Songwriting Community Via Tin Pan South
ole's Majorly Indie Show at The Rutledge Live Music Venue in Nashville on the night of March 30th was the kick off for the 18th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival, four days of great music from the source – the songwriters – as they set about "igniting Music City with song." Four of ole's writers: Steven Lee Olsen (ole/Roots Three), Roger Springer, Bruce Wallace and Chris Wallin; each performed four of their chart-topping songs on the night giving way briefly to guest writer, Rick Giles.
ole's Nashville Creative Director, Shane Barrett, who was on stage to offer some instrumental and vocal backing for Springer and anyone else who needed to fill out their sound, made some opening remarks on behalf of ole before introducing Bruce Wallace who was the host for the evening. "It's our fourth year of involvement with Tin Pan South as a participant as well as a sponsor," says Barrett. "The crowds just keep getting better every year,. This is a sponsorship in which ole takes great pride because it benefits the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) which is at the forefront of promoting the welfare of songwriters by supporting legislation that favors and advances their rights." ole had also sponsored the Tin Pan South Preview Party at the same venue in early March.
