TV ADMINISTRATIONole Extends the Term of Its Worldwide Administration Deal with Peace Arch Entertainment Group
It's the continuation of a relationship that has seen PEA achieve goals articulated by the company's incoming President/CEO John Flock in the summer of 2009, which in part involved developing strategic growth opportunities in ancillary businesses like music. The ole pact has allowed PEA to turn their non-core music publishing royalty history into core production financing. PEA, a Toronto-based company with offices in Los Angeles and Vancouver, is home to the award winning drama The Tudors, which ran for four seasons and had its series finale on June 20 of this year. The production aired on Showtime (U.S.), the CBC (Canada) and the BBC (U.K.). In-house productions like their lifestyle series' Last Ten Pounds Boot Camp and Bulging Brides, both of which air on FLN in the U.S. and Slice in Canada, have combined with new film and TV programming acquired from outside producers and PEA's existing library of approximately 800 films and 200 hours of television programming, to help the company achieve great international distribution success. |
