ole To Co-Own Music for Dr. Seuss' 'The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That' TV Series
ole has signed a co-ownership deal with Random House Children's Entertainment, in association with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, for all of the compositions in the children's TV series "The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That," which features the further adventures of Dr. Seuss' iconic children's character, The Cat in the Hat, the gregarious, anthropomorphic feline with the towering red and white striped top hat and co-ordinated red bow tie.

Peace Arch Entertainment Group, a leader in the production and acquisition of feature films and television programs for worldwide distribution, signed a publishing rights administration deal with ole just over two years ago. That was December of 2007. In the time since, the two companies have forged a relationship that has allowed Peace Arch to turn their non-core music publishing royalty history into core production financing.

This month, Universal recording artist and ole/tanjola writer, Shiloh, is sure to attract attention at newsstands across the country as she graces the cover of Faze, Canada's number one teen magazine. The head-and-shoulder image is striking, the result of a full-on fashion shoot that also resulted in a series of evocative portraits that accompany the insightful profile by writer Dana Marie Krook with photographs by Mario Miotti inside and will provide the cover for her next album due out later this year.

ole's Chris Wallin, Bruce Wallace, Rick Giles and co-venture Roots Three Music's Steven Lee Olsen played a mid-day showcase at the Hotel Cafй in Hollywood on February 24th for an audience of studio representatives, music supervisors, film producers, record executives and reps from the performing rights organizations, who heard some great music and enjoyed a fine lunch catered by the popular Sunset Strip eatery, The Den of Hollywood.

She will be based in Toronto and report to ole President Michael McCarty.
ole Builds Nashville Admin Presence With Kele Currier
As Kele Currier moves into her new position of as Director of Administration at ole working out of the Nashville office, she spent some time at ole's Toronto office in mid-February to meet the team with whom she will be working closely on all administration matters. In her pivotal role, Currier will specialize in managing ole's Nashville-based catalogs; serve as the admin client representative for ole's ever-growing roster of country music writers, and actively seek out clients among the self-published Nashville songwriter community.
