TONY MARTIN


Tony Martin is one of the most successful songwriters in Nashville. He has had 16 #1s, 8 Top 5s, and 5 Top 10s. Among his compositions are "Time Is Love" by Josh Turner, which was Billboard's Most Played Song of 2012; "You Look Good In My Shirt" by Keith Urban; and Billboard's Most Played Song of 1998, "Just To See You Smile" by Tim McGraw.

Martin received a BA in Communications from BYU and later worked as a reported for newspapers in Chicago and Nashville. When his song, "Baby's Gotten Good At Goodbye," was recorded by George Strait, he moved to Nashville and has experienced consistent success ever since, having #1 songs in four decades, including the latest, "A Little More Summertime" by Jason Aldean.
