TORONTO: ole (majorlyindie.com), one of the world's largest independent music publishers, has announced an important music publishing administration deal with Scholastic Media (scholastic.com), a division of Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education and media company.

Under the deal, ole, with offices in Toronto, Los Angeles and Nashville, will cultivate Scholastic's music publishing property in all territories outside of the U.S. The Scholastic deal adds to ole's dominance as a specialist in the administration of children's television; ole administers worldwide catalogues for companies such as Nelvana, Cookie Jar, WGBH, CCI and others.
