ole & June St. in Synch for Synch

ole and June St. Entertainment of Los Angeles have signed a reciprocal representation agreement that will see June St. represent the ole catalog for sync in LA while ole will represent the June St. reptoire in Canada.

June St. Entertainment currently represents catalogs from music publishers, record labels, Grammy Award winning songwriters, composers and recording artists for placement in film, television, new media and advertising. Artists include Barry White, Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison and Tina Turner.

June St. Entertainment was formed in 2001 by BMG Music Publishing marketing innovator Art Ford. While at BMG, Ford increased BMG's synchronization and soundtrack mechanical revenues over 400%. In 1999, Ford created the Sundance Film Festival's first official music showcase. It has now become a Sundance annual event featuring artists such as Third Eye Blind, Blondie, Lyle Lovett, Lisa Loeb and Eagle Eye Cherry.

Recent film synchs for June St. include blockbusters such as Austin Powers, Collateral, Barbershop 2, Charlie's Angels, Breaking All The Rules, The Butterfly Effect and The Bourne Identity. In television June St. has placed music in hit series such as Desperate Housewives, Six Feet Under, The Shield, Las Vegas, Dawson's Creek and The Osbournes. June Street has also licensed songs for some of the most lucrative and influential advertising campaigns including Nextel, Coca-Cola, The Gap, MCI, Volvo and Old Navy.
