LOS ANGELES: Canadian-owned ole, the country's largest independent music publisher, is proud to announce a multi-year pact to administer the worldwide music rights of Los Angeles-based PorchLight Entertainment, a multi-faceted producer and distributor, licensor and merchandising representative, of premium family entertainment.
Home to such highly regarded family programs as the Emmy-winning animated series Tutenstein, the popular Jay Jay the Jet Plane, the PBS series Adventures from the Book of Virtues and over 200 feature films and television movies, PorchLight's music rights will be administered by Toronto-based ole for the next four years.
"We think it's the right time for us to select ole to assist us in administrating our music assets on a worldwide basis," said William Baumann, Chief Operating Officer, PorchLight Entertainment.
"Our children's and family programming library has grown substantially in recent years, and we have an expanded slate of new programming in development and production which will result in an even larger music library.
"This new relationship with ole assures us that our music assets will be effectively administered."
Robert Ott, ole managing partner, states that his team is eager to supply their global admin expertise to PorchLight.
"We're very excited to provide world-class service to PorchLight Entertainment," said Ott. "PorchLight's commitment to excellence and their aggressive, entrepreneurial outlook are very much in line with our thinking at ole.
