ole Signs Cuppa Coffee to TV Admin Deal

TORONTO: ole has signed the award-winning multi-disciplinary animation studio Cuppa Coffee to a multi-year deal to administer their music rights.

The agreement includes current production, Bruno and the Banana Bunch, the new 26-episode animated series for pre-schoolers that features narration by child TV icon Brian Cant and music by award-winning composer Adam Goddard.

The series, whose episodes are 11 minutes long and based on the internationally popular, award-winning interstitial Bruno -- which airs in 70 countries on such broadcasters as Nickelodeon, Noggin, CBC, TFO and Baby TV -- follows the playful monkey as he embarks on exciting adventures and dreams up imaginative games that feature colours, numbers, shapes and sizes.

Adam Sheehan, President and Executive Producer, Cuppa Coffee Studios, said ole was the most logical choice to administer his company's music publishing.

"We did extensive research in choosing which publishing company to go with and ole stood out from the rest due to their enthusiasm, global experience in royalty administration and first-rate customer service," states Sheehan.

"We look forward to this new relationship with the ole team."

Bill Banham, ole Television Business Development, said it's an honour to work with internationally esteemed Cuppa Coffee Studios.

"With a client list including, but not limited to; A&E, ESPN, Spike Television, the Cartoon Network and award winning director David Cronenberg, it's obvious that Adam, Lalitha and the entire Cuppa Coffee team have the respect of their peers." notes Banham.

"Cuppa Coffee is a proven leader in the world of stop-motion animation, and we are honoured to have concluded a multi-year, worldwide agreement with them."
