Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Development
Gilles is ole’s Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Development. The position focuses on ole stakeholder and industry relations worldwide to drive brand awareness, initiate strategic acquisitions and create market opportunities and drive increased revenue. Gilles also continues to provide advice and counsel to the Creative teams and liaise with writers in Nashville, LA and Canada. 
Godard has been with ole for 8 years, most recently as its Chief Creative Officer and has been an integral part of its growth over this time. Gilles has been instrumental in facilitating major ole acquisitions such as Jody Williams Music containing several Taylor Swift cuts including White Horse, Tim McGraw, Pictures To Burn, Fearless and Teardrops On My Guitar, the Blacktop Catalog with cuts by Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton and Joey & Rory, the Better Angels Catalog which includes cuts by Thompson Square, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley and Kip Moore. Gilles was also instrumental in identifying and initiating the Timbaland deal for ole which includes cuts by Justin Timberlake, Suit & Tie, Mirrors, Sexyback, and cuts by Jay Z, Holy Grail featuring Justin Timberlake and Beyonce among others.
Additionally he has presided over the rapid growth of ole's Nashville operations. 
Gilles is also an award winning writer, publisher, artist and producer and has had over 398 of his songs recorded by artists such as Terri Clark, Crossin’ Dixon, Patty Loveless, Blackhawk, Ricky Skaggs, Anne Murray, The Road Hammers, Lee Greenwood, Ednita Nazario, Dan Seals, Tracy Byrd, Cowboy Crush, Amy Dalley, Adam Gregory, Brad Johner, Crossin’ Dixon, Willie Mack and Lace to name a few.
