Panurge was born of the musical experiments of Daniel Byrne, Chris Lovell, and Jon Schubert in the summer of 2000. The group is a unique blend of pop, rock, electronica, and largely driven by a spirit of experimentation.

In 2001 Panurge independently produced and released their debut, Erectangle. This was followed by a record deal with Nettwerk, and the 2004 album Throw Down the Reins. In 2006 they aligned with Last Gang Records and released their most recent album Walking In The Fog.

Panurge's music has been heard on such shows as JPod (CBC), Numb3rs (CBS),America's Funniest Home Videos (ABC), Just Legal (WB), Three Moons Over Milford (ABC), andGodiva's (Bravo).
