The London Apartments began as a bedroom-recording project for then 19-year-old Justin Langlois. Langlois lived in a small apartment with thin walls, no insulation and cold floors. To avoid disturbing his neighbours, Langlois began to sing ever so quietly and began toying with freeware drum machines and random sequencing software, eventually layering it all together.

By the winter of 2004, Langlois had begun recording what would become his debut albumRomanticism Aside, which was released through Sound Of Pop Records in May, 2005.

The London Apartment’s Logistics & NavigationEP was released on September 18th, 2006 on Beggars Banquet throughout the world. The video for "Summer Takes All My Time" was added to rotation on Much Music and featured on the Wedge and Much Music's Indie Spotlight.
